Weather outlook - Week starting 4th April 2016

A new month! A new financial year!

Chennai - mercury will continue to soar high. We should have temperatures touching 36 degree Celsius.  Enjoy watermelons and tender coconuts! Of course juicy mangoes!

If you want to have some rain shower, plan to be Konkan or Kerala coast which may have some showers this week or Coimbatore and Bangalore.

Best places to be in this week to have some rains are Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal, Assam and North Eastern States. There will be some rain activity also in few central Indian region. Mostly, the rains would be in Northern frontier and North Eastern states of India.

Other countries: These countries might experience some moderate to heavy rains in the coming days - Arabian countries, South China, Srilanka, and parts of South East Asia.

Chennai don’t even dream of rains…it's going to be hot and hotter.  It will be in the range of 32C. Tamil Nadu - No rains. Kerala - No much clouds Parts of Uttar Pradesh had extensive rains over this weekend. The same will continue on 7 March. However, this will dry down during the week and it will resume around Saturday 12th March in Uttar Pradesh (Allahabad, Varanasi and neighboring regions) and Madhya Pradesh (Anuppur and neighboring regions). Also, by Friday 11th March, we will see some rain activities in Jammu Kashmir and some rainfall across North-Western region as well. Chennai - no relief from heat. It's time for water melon and mangoes ;) South India : Some rain activities will be seen during this week in the following areas/districts - Thrissur, Palghat (6mm+), Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Chikkamagaluru, Mudigere, Salem, Thiruvanamalai, Bangalore surrounding areas, Ramanathapuram, Trivandrum and Kanyakumari.  This week parts of North East India, Jammu Kashmir, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Arunachal Pradesh (West Siang).
