Weather outlook for the week starting 7th March 2016

Chennai don’t even dream of rains…it's going to be hot and hotter.  It will be in the range of 32C.
Tamil Nadu - No rains.
Kerala - No much clouds

Parts of Uttar Pradesh had extensive rains over this weekend. The same will continue on 7 March. However, this will dry down during the week and it will resume around Saturday 12th March in Uttar Pradesh (Allahabad, Varanasi and neighboring regions) and Madhya Pradesh (Anuppur and neighboring regions).
Also, by Friday 11th March, we will see some rain activities in Jammu Kashmir and some rainfall across North-Western region as well. By the weekend starting, there might be scanty rainfall with Isolated showers across North and Central India.  (most of the rainfall in these regions will be in the range of 1mm to 3mm)

Parts of South East Asia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, UAE and Oman will have rains this week.

# Ramanathapuram received: 3.0mm
# Nagercoil/Kanyakumari received: 0.3mm
# Kochi received: 3.5mm
# NI and SI Karnataka received: 1mm to 2mm
# Maharashtra received rain across the region
# Mumbai city and suburban received: 0.3mm

Hope this info helps you to plan your week! Chennai will have temperature ranging between min of 25C to max 32C…Hot Sunny Days started! Closer to South Tamil Nadu coast near Tuticorin and neighboring regions might have rains …light showers from 29 Feb to 2 March.   Nagercoil can have slight showers on 29 Feb and 1st March (low chance). Kochi might have rains on Saturday 5th March. Kozhikode likely rains on 3rd / 4th March. Trivandrum might also have few showers …low chances though. Cyclone Vardah might bring some good rain to us in Chennai. Spread the word.

Vardah might land near Chennai... though it might weaken further. The IMD Radar are reflecting the same now. Also, the region it might cover is from Chennai and beyond Nellore. North Coast of Tamil Nadu and Southern Coast region of Andhra Pradesh will experience heavy rains in the next few days even starting today 11 Dec. The good news is, in Chennai we will have rain and during the landfall of the system it might be weak. Its good to be prepared. Hope the bureaucrats are aware and ready to act.
